About me

James Riddel is nurse manager of the UCSF Hemophilia Treatment Center. In addition to working directly with patients, he works with providers and other staff members to coordinate both inpatient and outpatient care. He also manages the center's operational, grant and research activities.

Riddel has been caring for patients living with hemophilia for more than 20 years, and he worked in the hematology department at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland for more than a decade.

Riddel earned a master's degree in education and human development from George Washington University. He earned his master's degree in nursing from UCSF.
