Mary Yang is a social worker who supports and guides patients and their families as they go through the lung transplant process.

Yang earned her master's degrees in social work and public health from the University of Southern California as part of a dual degree program. She is a member of the Society for Transplant Social Workers.

In her free time, Yang enjoys running and spending time with family and friends. She hopes to get back into Muay Thai boxing one day. She was raised in California's Central Valley and has lived in many parts of the state.
