About me

Zev A. Weinberg is a social worker who specializes in caring for patients before and after liver transplantation. He assesses emotional and social well-being before surgery and helps his patients overcome any personal barriers to the process. He also has expertise in substance abuse intervention and support for recovery.

Weinberg earned his master's degree in social work from the University of Washington. He has additional training in chemical dependency counseling, dialectical behavior therapy (which teaches skills for handling emotions and conflict) and suicide prevention.

Weinberg is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, listening to music and spending time with his dog.
