Schuman Tam, MD

Allergist

Dr. Schuman Tam is a board-certified specialist in adult and pediatric allergy, asthma and immunology. He sees patients at the Allergy & Immunology Clinic.

Born in Hong Kong, Tam attended high school in the Bay Area before earning an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He went on to complete a medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco. Tam completed his fellowship in allergy and immunology, as well as a postdoctoral research fellowship, at UCSF.

Tam is also a clinical professor of medicine at UCSF and has a passion for teaching.

He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa; the American College of Physicians; the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; San Francisco Medical Society, the Marin Medical Society; and the California Medical Association.
