Scott Berta, MD

Dr. Scott C. Berta is the neurosurgery medical director at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa and focuses primarily on minimally invasive techniques in spine surgery. He also has an interest in spine fusion alternatives such as cervical disc arthroplasty, also known as artificial disc technology. Berta's expertise lies in endoscopic lumbar spine surgery.

Berta earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed a spine research fellowship at the Rothman Institute. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Stanford University, where he also completed senior and chief residencies in neurosurgery. An assistant clinical professor at UCSF, Berta is a member of the California Association of Neurological Surgeons.
