The program brings stress relief and comfort to those who need it most, right where they are. Our goal is to ease symptoms such as pain, nausea, fatigue, anxiety or depression.
Our spa menu options include:
- Massage (hand, foot or neck massage, with a choice of scented or unscented oils)
- Acupressure
- Aromatherapy with essential oils and blends
- Guided breathing and meditation sessions
- Virtual escapes to the California redwoods, beaches of Bali or other scenes of beauty all over the world, using 3-D goggles
The program uses all-natural organic lotions and essential oils.
Treatments are available on Tuesdays to chemotherapy patients in the Ida Friend Infusion Center at Mount Zion. The schedule is subject to change.
The nonprofit Cashmere Foundation created this program to provide extra healing support in medical settings. The program is supported by donations and grants. To donate, please visit thecashmerefoundation.org.
