Stephen Baxter, PT, DPT

Physical therapist

Stephen Baxter started his physical therapy career in a large North London General Hospital, where he worked and gained valuable experience in a variety of different clinical settings serving a very diverse population group which had interesting and unique challenges. From there he continued to develop his career by moving into a Private Health Group in central London. There Baxter furthered his interest in spinal physical therapy, and gained years of experience working with athletes and fitness enthusiasts. In early 2012 he decided to "move across the pond" to the sunnier weather of San Francisco, where he acquired the role of clinical director at a successful private practice before moving to UCSF to pursue his passion for teaching and education while maintaining the ability to practice clinically.
