Ted Scheel, MSW, MPH

Social worker

Ted Scheel is a clinical social worker at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he works with patients in the radiation oncology and head and neck cancer clinics. He strives to help address patients' psychosocial needs during their time at the cancer center.

Scheel earned his master's degree in social work and a master's degree in public health at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Before joining UCSF, he served as a social worker in the Emergency Department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and completed an internship at Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis.
