Tenessa MacKenzie, MD

Family practice physician

Dr. Tenessa MacKenzie is a doctor of family medicine at the UCSF Family Medicine Center at Lakeshore. In addition to offering the full scope of family medicine, MacKenzie is particularly interested in comprehensive women's health care, pediatrics, teaching and healthy lifestyle counseling. Prior to joining the Family Medicine Center at Lakeshore, she worked as a locum tenens physician in Canada and New Zealand.

MacKenzie earned a medical degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. and completed a residency in family medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, N.Y.
