Mission Bay

Our newest campus, Mission Bay is home to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco, UCSF Betty Irene Moore Women's Hospital and UCSF Bakar Cancer Hospital, in addition to numerous outpatient services for both children and adults.

The addresses and directions below are for the hospital complex, but UCSF services are located throughout the Mission Bay campus; for directions to a specific clinic, check the clinic webpage.

Public Transport

Taking Muni

Our Mission Bay campus is accessible via the Muni T-Third Street line, which stops at the UCSF Mission Bay Station on Third Street, near the intersection with Gene Friend Way. A new 55 Muni line will provide service from the 16th & Mission BART station to the Mission Bay campus. This service is expected to start by Feb. 1, 2015.

UCSF Shuttles

Free UCSF shuttles connect our Mission Bay campus with our Mount Zion and Parnassus campuses as well as other UCSF locations and the 16th Street BART station. There is also a "Mission Bay Local" shuttle that will take you anywhere you want to go within the Mission Bay campus, available Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Mission Bay shuttle stops are located on the east and west sides of Fourth Street, in between Gene Friend Way and 16th Street.

Patrons with a disability placard pay the regular rate for the first hour. Beyond the first hour, they pay a flat rate of $6 in the garages and $5 at the Owens St. surface lot.

Patients may be dropped off at the circle drive in front of the Gateway Medical Building at 1825 Fourth St.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is available in the circle drive in front of the Gateway Medical Building at 1825 Fourth St. [CARS WILL BE PARKED IN THE NEW HOSPITAL GARAGE AT 1835 OWENS?] There is no extra charge for the valet service, but patrons are responsible for paying the appropriate parking fee.<.p>

Valet drop-off service is available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Valet auto retrieval is available 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. PATRONS LEAVING AFTER 6 P.M. MUST RETRIEVE THEIR OWN VEHICLE AT THE GARAGE?]
