Being With Your Child
Parents and family members are encouraged to spend as much time as possible with their child, when hospitalized. Brothers and sisters of any age are welcome to visit. Parents, however, are responsible for their supervision. Please no visitors with colds, flu, fever or exposure to chickenpox within the past three weeks.
Sleeping space for overnight stays is provided in the hospital for one parent or family member over the age of 18. Showers are available for a parent's use. In the hospital, you will have access to a microwave oven and a refrigerator. To store food in the refrigerator, label the item with your child's name and the date. Food will be stored for three days from the date on the label. Similarly, breast milk can be stored in the freezer.
