Brian Sinotte, MHA, MBA, FACHE

Brian Sinotte is president of the UCSF Health Network. He directs and manages the UCSF Health Network, which includes clinical partnerships with John Muir Health, MarinHealth and Washington Health. The network also includes UCSF's Community Hospital Division, Network Ambulatory Division, Physician Foundation and Network Joint Ventures. He also facilitates the integration and alignment of the UCSF Health Affiliates Network.
An experienced health care leader, Brian has spent more than 15 years spearheading integration across academic medicine and community health systems. In his previous roles, he has developed and executed strategic visions to optimize patient access, clinical outcomes and operational performance.
Most recently, Sinotte was market chief executive officer for Northwest Healthcare in Tucson, Arizona, where he transformed a network of more than 80 sites of care into what is now the region's top provider. As president of the community health and hospital division at The University of Chicago Medicine, Sinotte established local partnerships to address health equity and developed a model for integrated strategic growth in the Chicago metropolitan area and Northwest Indiana. He also spearheaded the integration and growth of multiple health systems within Duke LifePoint Healthcare, a joint venture between the Duke University Health System and Lifepoint Health that serves patients in North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Sinotte earned his bachelor's degree from St. John's University in Minnesota, followed by master's degrees in healthcare administration and business administration from the University of Minnesota. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds coaching certifications from the Healthcare Leadership Institute and the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches.
