Breast Care Center in Marin

The UCSF Breast Care Center in Marin is part of the UCSF Helen Diller Comprehensive Cancer Center. It provides screening for early breast cancer detection; effective, less toxic treatments for breast cancer; and specialized care for patients at high risk for breast cancer. Patients are treated by Dr. Cheryl Ewing, Marin County's most experienced breast surgeon, who helped develop two breast procedures, a lumpectomy with partial breast reconstruction and a nipple-sparing mastectomy. Ewing has 20 years of experience and performs more than 250 breast surgeries a year.

The center treats you as a whole person, supporting both your physical and emotional well-being. We provide a wide range of patient services that include individual counseling as well as support groups for patients and their families.
