Lab Services at Parnassus
UCSF Lab Services at Parnassus performs diagnostic and other laboratory tests for patients receiving care in our hospital and clinics and for our scientific researchers. Your doctor may order specific tests to better understand your condition.
UCSF laboratories perform more than 4.2 million tests every year. Our laboratories are state-licensed, certified under the federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, and accredited with distinction by the College of American Pathologists.
Our labs are committed to providing safe and excellent services. For your convenience, selected locations are accepting self-scheduled appointments. You can schedule your next appointment for this location through the MyChart website or app.
If you are self-scheduling, download our special test instructions. These include details about where and when various tests are done.
Please note: UCSF lab services do not test for COVID-19. If you have COVID-19 symptoms, contact your provider for guidance.
