Berkeley Outpatient Center

The UCSF-John Muir Health Berkeley Outpatient Center offers convenient primary, specialty and outpatient surgical care in the East Bay. Urgent care, lab tests and imaging services are also available on-site.

We are a collaboration between John Muir Health and UCSF Health. Doctors from both institutions work together to provide the best possible care.

Specialty care

A wide range of specialty care services are available at the center, including allergy care, cardiology, cancer care, neurosurgery and urology.

Urgent care

We offer urgent care for non-life-threatening medical issues that need prompt attention, such as coughs, fevers, sprains and cuts requiring stitches. We’re also able to provide IV infusions.

Cancer care

Part of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, Cancer Center Berkeley offers world-class treatment for most cancer types, along with support services and educational resources.

Lab services

Lab Services Berkeley is located on the second floor of the center. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can schedule via MyChart.

Imaging services

At Radiology Berkeley, we offer MRI, CT, PET-CT, X-ray, DEXA (bone density scan) and ultrasound tests. We also provide a range of breast imaging services.

Surgical care

Various types of outpatient surgery (procedures that don’t require hospitalization) are available at the Surgery Center Berkeley. These include breast, colorectal endocrine, gastrointestinal, orthopedic and general surgery procedures. Our three operating rooms and one procedure room feature state-of-the-art equipment.

Patients enter the surgery center from Folger Street. There is a dedicated parking lot for surgical patients across the street.
