Cancer Acute Care Mission Bay

Cancer Acute Care Mission Bay
The UCSF Cancer Acute Care Clinic (CACC) is dedicated to helping patients when they experience unexpected, non-life-threatening illnesses or symptoms related to cancer, including treatment-related complications.

Our team includes highly skilled advanced practice providers with expertise in addressing symptoms, such as:

  • Dehydration
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Fever
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • New or worsening pain
  • Rash
  • Shortness of breath (non-life-threatening)
  • Swelling of an arm or leg

If you're experiencing any of these symptoms, contact your UCSF oncology team for a same-day referral to the Cancer Acute Care Clinic. We do not accept walk-ins at this time.

Once the referral is accepted, the clinic will contact you to schedule an appointment. Our goal is to do this within 45 minutes of receiving the referral.
