Mount Zion Hospital

Mount Zion Hospital

Mount Zion Hospital was renovated in 2021 and reopened as UCSF Health’s new hub for adult orthopedic surgery. Most of our orthopedic operations are performed there, including hip, knee and shoulder replacements; trauma surgeries; and hand, foot and ankle procedures. It also houses a sports medicine clinic and a general internal medicine clinic.

The inpatient program of UCSF’s Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital is located on the seventh floor.

Parking

There’s a patient drop-off and pick-up area directly in front of the hospital. Valet service is available there as well, at no extra charge.

A UCSF parking garage is located at 2420 Sutter St., just around the corner from the hospital.

Dining options

The Mount Zion Café is located on the hospital’s basement level.
