Making an appointment

If you’re a UCSF patient, a UCSF primary care doctor, neurologist or neurosurgeon can refer you to us.

If you don’t have a UCSF doctor, you can schedule an appointment directly by calling us. A prescription from your referring doctor, detailing your complaints and the procedure request, should be faxed to our office.

Most spine procedures can be scheduled within five to seven business days. Every effort will be made to accommodate urgent requests within two days. Spine interventional studies, CT, MRI and PET/CT examinations can be scheduled on the same day.
