Frontotemporal Dementia Caregiver Support Group
The UCSF Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) Caregiver Support Group provides education as well as support to caregivers and families of people with FTD or related neurodegenerative diseases, such as progressive supranuclear palsy and corticobasal degeneration. The group addresses the specific needs of FTD caregivers, which are often different from those of caregivers for people with Alzheimer's disease. The format is informal, featuring open discussions and occasional speakers. Attendance is free, but advance registration is required.

Meetings: Second Thursday of the month, 12:30 - 2 p.m.

Frontotemporal Dementia Telephone Support Group
The UCSF Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) Telephone Support Group serves adult children of FTD patients. People anywhere in the country are welcome to join the discussion by phone. Participation is free. Please contact the group facilitator for the call-in number and to clarify the meeting time.

Huntington's Disease Support Group
The UCSF Huntington's Disease Support Group welcomes individuals affected with or at risk for Huntington's disease, as well as their family members, loved ones, friends and caregivers. The group offers support and education in a caring, safe and relaxed environment. The format is informal, with occasional guest speakers who share their knowledge of medical management, research and resources.

Living with Dementia Caregiver Support Group
The UCSF Living with Dementia Caregiver Support Group provides an environment for families and friends of patients diagnosed with dementia to share their experiences and receive support. Walk-ins are welcome. This group is free and is co-sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association and UCSF Memory and Aging Center.
Location: Virtual/Zoom.
Meetings: Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, 6 – 7:30 p.m.
