About me
Dr. Allison Bond is an infectious disease specialist who cares for patients with serious infections, as well as providing primary care for patients with HIV. She also provides general medical care to patients in the hospital.
Bond's research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases among non-infectious disease specialists and on medical education and clinical reasoning (the thought processes that facilitate diagnosing and successfully treating medical conditions).
Bond earned her medical degree from Boston University of Medicine, then completed a residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. She then completed fellowships in infectious diseases and hospital medicine at UCSF. She also holds a masters of arts in journalism from New York University.
