Dr. Allison Kratka is a non-invasive cardiologist who cares for patients with heart disease and has a special interest in using echocardiography to treat valvular heart disease.

Kratka earned her medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard University. She completed fellowships in general cardiology and advanced echocardiography at UCSF.

Kratka's research focuses on quality improvement and implementation science, ensuring that high-quality care reaches patients. Her previous work has focused on cardiac implantable electronic devices (such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators), remote monitoring of heart failure patients, heart failure readmissions and insurance coverage for invasive coronary angiography.
