About me
Dr. Andrew H. Ko is a specialist in digestive system cancers. He provides compassionate and individualized care for patients with cancers of the pancreas, stomach and esophagus.
In research, Ko has long been active in developing and evaluating new treatments for gastrointestinal cancers, including molecularly targeted agents and immune-based therapies.
Ko earned an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics and biology at Brown University. He earned his medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, and completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Stanford University. He joined UCSF in 2001.

I checked "very good" only because there is no "excellent" listed, which I would have checked uniformly.
