About me
Carolina S. Berg is an acute care nurse practitioner who cares for patients receiving infusions, including chemotherapy, biotherapy (treatments that stimulate the recipient's immune system to fight disease), intravenous antibiotics, and intravenous antiviral or antifungal medications.
Berg earned her undergraduate and master's degree in nursing from the University of Washington. In her 20-year career, she has cared for patients with urological cancers and breast cancer, as well as many other conditions. She joined UCSF in 2006.
In her free time, Berg participates in the many sporting activities the Bay Area has to offer and loves spending time outdoors.
