Dr. Shoback took the time to prepare for my new patient visit by reviewing many of the radiographic test results, referring physician's notes, medical history and medication list prior to our appointment. This was very helpful as it made me feel as if she knew some things about my medical condition and had time to think about it before we met and could ask more specific clarifying questions.

I was so impressed with Dr. Shoback. It is rare to find a doctor that is so caring and took the time to listen to what I had to say, my concerns and discussing the various options opened to me with my osteoporosis. It meant so much to me to find someone like her. I feel I am in the best hands with her and UCSF.
