About me
Donald Grandis is a general cardiologist with a particular interest in personalizing care to prevent or manage cardiac disease optimally for each patient. He practices noninvasive cardiology, which includes transthoracic, stress and transesophageal echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart). He also interprets stress tests and nuclear cardiac images.
In his research, Grandis studies ways to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. He also looks at using remote patient monitoring and other health care technologies to improve outcomes in patients with common heart conditions.
Grandis earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
