About me

Dr. Douglas Goodin is a neurologist and an internationally renowned expert on multiple sclerosis (MS).

Goodin divides his time between patient care, clinical research and teaching. His research focuses on understanding genetic and environmental aspects of MS epidemiology as well as on developing and assessing new treatments for MS.

Goodin earned his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine. He then completed a residency in neurology and fellowship training in clinical electrophysiology at UCSF. He also has a master's degree in molecular biology from Purdue University.

Goodin is a professor of neurology at UCSF.

      Dr. Goodin is an exceptional physician Who genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. I know that When it is my turn, he will give me the time that is required. Since he does the same for other patients as well, his punctuality is unimportant.
