About me

Dr. Kamesh Krishnamurthy is a neurologist who cares for patients with acquired brain injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, and neurological injuries related to cardiac arrest.

In his research, Krishnamurthy investigates neurological injuries with the ultimate goal of developing new treatments. He is also actively involved in medical education, teaching and mentoring UCSF medical students, residents and fellows.

Krishnamurthy earned his medical degree and doctorate in neurobiology at Duke University. He completed a residency in neurology at UCSF.

      Excellent provider who understands the uniqueness of head injuries. Felt understood and supported more than other providers at surrounding facilities with comparable positions.

      He was very attentive, did not rush, and you could tell he had read all the reports sent to him prior so that he was fully aware of the conditions etc. We like him and the speech therapise very much and would recommend them most definitely.

      Dr. K was professional, kind, caring and listened to me. He explained my situation in an easy to understand manner. Highly recommended.
