About me
Dr. Kiauntee Murray is an orthopedic surgeon who cares for patients with bone and soft tissue tumors (cancerous or noncancerous) as well as those with cancer that has spread throughout the body. She provides comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment options tailored to each patient, and has expertise in complex limb salvage operations (procedures to preserve damaged limbs).
The overall goal of Murray's research is to advance the understanding and treatment of cancers that affect bones, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments. In addition to her investigatory work, she is active in various volunteer and leadership roles, including mentoring medical trainees and working in community service, and involved in several medical associations.
Murray earned her medical degree and completed a residency in orthopedics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She completed a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital (affiliates of Harvard Medical School), followed by a fellowship in orthopedic clinical research at Boston Children's Hospital.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Murray loves to read, travel and ride horses.
