About me

Dr. Mike K.W. Cheng is an internal medicine doctor who provides primary and urgent care for adults. With a focus on prevention, he aims to deliver effective, efficient care that will bring each patient the best possible results.

In research, Cheng focuses on medical education, particularly as it relates to improving patient care. As director of the internal medicine division's clinician educator fellowship program, he enjoys mentoring fellows, and as the division's resident quality improvement champion, he enjoys working with residents on projects to enhance care.

Cheng earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago. He completed a clinician educator fellowship at UCSF.
