Dr. Natalie Young is a geriatrician and palliative medicine doctor who cares for adults with cancer or other serious illnesses. She helps patients manage their symptoms and treatment side effects, and discusses advance care planning with them.

Young's research interests include making comprehensive geriatric assessments part of routine cancer care for older adults and improving the care of patients living with dementia.

Young earned her medical degree at UCSF, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine. She completed a fellowship in geriatrics and palliative medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Young enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Bay Area and cooking.

    While this appointment was a recheck for pain management, it no less was something that I look forward to as Dr. Young care and education remind me of the wonderful care I am receiving which allows me to continue to function In my career and as head of family. Five stars for sure!

    Dr. Natalie Young has been the most responsive and accurate provider over the last 3 years. Her Dx and Rx and treatment interventions have been helpful, accessible, comforting, quality of life improving, and making an enormous positive improvement in other ways. One of the finest, most nuanced and current physicians ever experienced and certainly highest level of relational skill in patient and patient's family care ever experienced, anywhere.

    Dr. Referred us to a nutritionist, a place to get a blood test, and a therapist for strength. But we checked my chart on where we get the information to make an appointment with a therapist and nutritionist and didn't see anything. So we don't know how to find the nutritionist and therapist to make an appointment with.
