About me
Dr. Nisha Hariharan is a hematologist-oncologist who cares for patients with a wide variety of cancers and blood disorders. She treats these conditions with chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy and strives to provide all of her patients with compassionate care that supports open communication.
Hariharan's research focuses on blood disorders, including both cancerous and noncancerous conditions. She has published her findings in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national hematology conferences.
Hariharan earned her medical degree at the Pennsylvania State University. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Davis, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of California, San Diego.
Outside of work, Hariharan enjoys playing the piano and spending time outdoors – hiking, skiing and learning to surf.
