Robert J. Rushakoff, MD, MS

Dr. Robert J. Rushakoff is a renowned expert in diabetes, serving as medical director of the UCSF Diabetes Clinic at Mount Zion as well as medical director for inpatient diabetes care at UCSF.

Rushakoff is a member of the diabetes and endocrinology research lab at the UCSF Mount Zion campus, where he studies the use of the internet to train doctors as well as patients in managing diabetes. His research has been published in medical journals.

Rushakoff earned his medical degree and a master's degree in pharmacology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed a residency in internal medicine at UCSF, followed by an endocrinology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
