Dr. Roger Mann is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, from degenerative diseases to acute and chronic injuries.

Mann earned his medical degree at UCSF, where he also completed a residency in orthopedic surgery. He has been practicing since 1968.

Mann has served as president of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society. Its award for the outstanding clinical paper presented at its annual meeting is named for him. He is also a member of the American Orthopaedic Association, Western Orthopaedic Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has published more than 120 scientific journal articles and 70 book chapters, and is a co-author of the most widely used orthopedic textbook on foot and ankle surgery, Mann's Surgery of the Foot and Ankle, now in its ninth edition.

    Care was great at ucsf from start to finish. All providers were great. They did try to figure out the problem I appreciate that maybe physical therapy might be helpful.

    I love Dr. Mann he is a caring knowledgeable doctor as was his assistant physician.
