Eugenia Gil is a nurse practitioner who collaborates with doctors to provide care for patients having surgery on the endocrine system (the system that includes hormone-producing glands, such as the thyroid and pancreas).

Gil coordinates a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care for patients with endocrine cancer or other kinds of endocrine disease. She consults with new patients, ordering lab tests and imaging studies as needed for a diagnosis. She also assists in preparing patients for surgery and conducts postoperative visits.

Gil earned a master's degree in nursing from Duke University School of Nursing. As part of her nurse practitioner training, she completed a family practice residency at Santa Rosa Community Health.

Gil is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and California Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In her personal life, Gil is interested in learning about cultures around the world. She believes that trying to see the world through other people's eyes helps to break down barriers and stereotypes.
