Eve Cohen is a palliative care nurse who cares for patients with serious, life-limiting conditions. She is the nurse program coordinator for the UCSF Palliative Care Clinic, a multidisciplinary team that focuses on improving quality of life for patients with serious illnesses as well as supporting their families. She has more than two decades of experience in nursing.
Cohen earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins University. Earlier in her career, she worked with patients with HIV and AIDS, and those in hospice care.
Cohen enjoys traveling in her free time. One of her favorite trips was a long adventure around the United States with her husband and two German shepherds, in which they visited 30 states and Canada.
