Gretchen Fulgencio is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with breast cancer while they are having chemotherapy, hormone therapy or targeted therapy, which uses drugs that can selectively attack genes or proteins to stop cancer from spreading.

Fulgencio earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at the Philippine Women's University. She completed her master's degree in nursing at Holy Names University. She worked as an oncology nurse for 10 years before becoming a nurse practitioner.

In her free time, Fulgencio enjoys hiking, watching musicals and other kinds of movies, cooking and baking, and exploring restaurants.
