About me

Heather Coyne is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with genital and urinary cancers. Her expertise includes early detection and survivorship planning. She has a particular focus on prostate cancer.

A California native, Coyne earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at California State University, Long Beach. At UCSF, she earned her master's degree in nursing and completed an advanced practice provider fellowship in cancer services. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she had served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years as a registered nurse, caring for patients before and after surgery. Her extensive background in perioperative nursing has equipped her with the skills and experience to provide exceptional care to her patients.

Coyne loves to stay active outdoors. She enjoys tennis, pickleball, skiing and cycling as well as exploring San Francisco through walking tours. She also cherishes spending quality time with family and friends, spoiling her niece and nephew, and traveling to places where she can experience other cultures and cuisines.
