Dr. Jeff Barry is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult reconstruction for hip and knee arthritis. He cares for patients with all types of degenerative conditions of the hip and knee as well as patients with complications from prior joint replacement. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
After growing up in San Jose and attending Bellarmine College Preparatory for high school, Barry graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic surgery at one of the premier adult reconstruction programs in the country, OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center.
In research, Barry is interested in managing care and risk assessment around the time of surgery, complex revision surgery and managing complications after total joint replacement. I would most Definitely recommend Dr. Barry and his associates. I feel it's very important to have a doctor in his associates show interest and listen to you. I understand that doctors are extremely busy and pushed for time but we have patients also need to know that we have a doctor that will make eye contact. You will show an interest to make you feel relaxed for the surgery.
