Joanne Taylor is a genetic counselor who helps patients understand their screening test results and ultrasound findings, compare choices for diagnostic procedures and examine their family histories. She enjoys enabling patients to understand the complexities of various genetic tests, so they can make informed decisions.

Taylor's past research experience includes providing genetic counseling to study participants experiencing symptoms of dementia.

Taylor earned her master's degree in genetic counseling from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

Throughout her career, Taylor has been committed to using eco-conscious transportation. She spent 20 years biking to work and now takes Caltrain.
