John Conrad Uy is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with lung conditions, including pulmonary nodules (abnormal growths in the lungs), lung cancer, pneumonitis (inflamed lung tissue), recurrent pleural effusions (when fluid repeatedly accumulates between the thin membranes surrounding the lungs) and severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He enjoys collaborating with doctors to help patients breathe better.
Uy earned his master's degree in nursing from UCSF.
