Dr. Julio A. Lamprea-Montealegre is a cardiologist who focuses on preventing the start or progression of heart disease.     Outstanding provider - very knowledgeable, good listener, involved us In decisions with which we were very happy (and my wife and I are both physicians!).     He is an AMAZING doctor!! Exceedingly kind, patient, knowledgeable. Took the time to explain things methodically, answered myriad questions, and has a great sense of humor. Feel truly blessed - Difficult to find good doctors - he's a gem.

    Dr. Lamprea Montealegre is a first rate surgeon at UCSF. He performed my umbilical surgery one year ago, and will now take of my bilateral inguinal hernias. I couldn't be more pleased.

    Dr. Lamprea had carefully reviewed all the data from my recent hospitalization in LA. He took a detailed history and did a careful physical exam. We discussed treatment options. He provided his opinion, with explanations. He listened! I was very impressed. Note: I am a cardiologist myself.
