About me

Dr. Kanika Bhardwaj is a medical geneticist who cares for patients with genetic diseases, including cancers and conditions affecting the heart or brain. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care for all.

Bhardwaj's research focuses on understanding and treating genetic conditions that emerge or worsen in adulthood. Her areas of investigation include the genetics of late-onset diseases, the role that genetic variation plays in disease risk and outcomes, and personalized approaches to care based on genetic information.

Bhardwaj earned her medical degree at the Armed Forces Medical College in India. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Nuvance Health and a fellowship in medical genetics and genomics at the University of California, San Diego.

Outside the clinic, Bhardwaj is passionate about baking, exploring the great outdoors and traveling to new places. Each adventure brings her joy and inspiration, and she loves sharing these experiences with others.
