About me
Dr. Kin M. Yuen is a sleep medicine specialist who provides a range of treatments and other services for patients with sleep disorders.
Yuen has been a principal investigator for studies on heart arrythmias and medical devices. She has co-authored articles on topics such as economic evaluations in health care and sleep disorders.
Yuen earned her medical degree and completed a residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in sleep disorders at Stanford Medicine, where she also earned a master's degree in health research and policy. Before completing her fellowship, she practiced internal medicine at the Stanford Medical Group.
Yuen is a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and serves on its public safety committee. She also serves as an advisory member to the School of Sleep Medicine's continuing medical education committee. In 2019, she chaired an Associated Professional Sleep Societies symposium on women and sleep disorders. She has been an invited speaker on women and sleep disorders for the California Sleep Society. She also lectures for an undergraduate course at Stanford University titled Sleep and Dreams. She has made media appearances as an expert on women and sleep disorders as well as on obstructive sleep apnea.
