Dr. Poree was very thorough in his explanation of what could and could not be accomplished through pain management and gave me plenty of information and next steps to take regarding management of my nerve pain. I appreciated his clear and up-front approach.

He was half hour late and didn't bother to apologize for being late. Don't think he review my chart/record before the visit.

Professor Poree reviewed my answers on the questionnaire and gave me the time the clarify my responses. He agreed that the questionnaire was inadequate to account for the variability of my pain experiences. I appreciate how well he listened and responded with follow-up questions. His perspective that it was appropriate to supplement my other ways of managing my pain (Celebrex, OTC NSAIDs, ice packs and exercise) with 5mg hydrocodone for those bouts of intense pain is also appreciated.
