About me
Lisa Kroon is a pharmacist and co-director of the UCSF Fontana Tobacco Treatment Center. She also cares for patients in other clinics who have diabetes, chronic illnesses or tobacco dependence.
Kroon teaches smoking cessation techniques to UCSF pharmacy, medical and dental students, preparing them for active roles in tobacco treatment. Her research activities have primarily been on diabetes and smoking cessation.
Kroon earned her doctor of pharmacy degree at the University of Michigan. She completed a residency in pharmacy practice at UCSF.
