About me
Lisa Mackie is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with conditions of the digestive system, including cancer. She has special interests in neuroendocrine tumors and colorectal cancer.
Mackie earned her master's degree in nursing at UCSF. She became a nurse practitioner as a second career and brings her life experiences to the job. She has worked in needle exchange programs, abortion care, medical research, crisis counseling, production management and personal training. She believes that caring for patients is a privilege.
