About me
Dr. Lowell Thorndike Nicholson is a dermatologist with expertise in caring for patients with medically complex skin diseases, including those who are hospitalized. He sees patients with all types of skin, hair and nail conditions, but has special interests in severe dermatologic drug reactions, rashes caused by systemic diseases, and autoimmune and autoinflammatory skin disorders.
Nicholson earned his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at UCSF and a residency in dermatology at the University of Utah. He completed a fellowship in complex medical dermatology at UCSF.
