About me
Magdelena Ford is a family nurse practitioner who cares for patients with breast cancer. As a San Francisco native, she feels grateful to be able to provide cancer care to the community that she calls home. Her nursing career has exposed her to a variety of specialties in the clinic and in the hospital, including breast oncology, general oncology, endocrinology, transplant nephrology and gastrointestinal surgery.
Ford feels it is a privilege to connect so intimately with other people's lives throughout their cancer journey. She is passionate about providing patients with the best treatment options, based on the latest research, while sustaining their quality of life throughout treatment. Her aim is to consistently individualize the care she provides to patients and their families.
Ford earned her master of science in nursing at San Francisco State University. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing at Samuel Merritt University.
Outside of work, Ford enjoys spending time with her family and dog, traveling, playing music and swimming.
