About me
Dr. Maggie Chen is a family medicine doctor who specializes in providing primary care for women. She takes a comprehensive approach, aiming to integrate care for physical, mental and sociocultural aspects of wellness. She partners with her patients in working toward their health goals. Her interests include family planning and contraception, adolescent medicine, integrative medicine and health policy.
Chen earned her medical degree and a master of public policy degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed a residency in family and community medicine at UCSF.

Dr. Chen is amazing. I feel so fortunate to have her as the foundation of my care team. Not only does she track on such key details to my care from session to session in a kind and firm way, she always has such thoughtful responses to all of my questions. Dr. Maggie Chen is wonderful. She knew my medical history, knows I travel a long ways, worked with me on upcoming suggested visits, knew about my next appointments and made sure I knew they were on different days.
