About me
Dr. Maggie Chen is a family medicine doctor who specializes in providing primary care for women. She takes a comprehensive approach, aiming to integrate care for physical, mental and sociocultural aspects of wellness. She partners with her patients in working toward their health goals. Her interests include family planning and contraception, adolescent medicine, integrative medicine and health policy.
Chen earned her medical degree and a master of public policy degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed a residency in family and community medicine at UCSF.

Dr. Chen is one of the best providers I've ever had. She genuinely listens to my concerns, asks specific questions and provides many options for treatment and it is clearly listed on my after summary visit. One of her top strengths are her communication skills. She is able to clearly and effectively communicate medical problems and treatments. I'm very pleased with her services and highly recommend her to others. Side note- I know Dr. Chen has many patients on her panel but she is able to make me feel like she remembers me and what we have discussed via messages or during our past visits. Great job!
