Maria Arella, PharmD

Maria Arella is a pharmacist who cares for patients with cancer. As an oncology pharmacy supervisor, she works with multiple specialists to provide patients with the latest cancer treatments. As a clinical pharmacist, she ensures the safety and effectiveness of treatments that the cancer center routinely administers. She is proud to be part of a team dedicated to delivering the best possible care, including investigational therapies), to culturally and socioeconomically diverse populations.

Arella earned her doctor of pharmacy degree at Touro University California. She completed her first post-graduate residency in pharmacy practice at Alameda Health System – Highland Hospital and her second post-graduate residency in oncology pharmacy at the University of Southern California Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.

If Arella is not in clinic, she can usually be found outdoors – swimming, biking or running.
